When are the container homes available?

At Pandagate we do not hold stock of the expandable homes. This translates to savings of at least $4000 against our competitors but it does mean you will have to wait. To make the units much cheaper to transport, we order two at a time. This means we often have spare units arriving at multiple ports in Australia. Road freight between ports is very expensive so it is best to choose the port nearest to your property.

The spare homes are generally sold before they arrive with customers securing them with a 50% deposit. The counters are then reset until the next order is taken.  If a counter is not running it means we don’t have an individual order for that port currently.  If we end up with unsold units we add the storage and transport costs we incur so it is cheaper to order before they arrive in the country.

Note that prices vary significantly over the period December to March. Sea freight at this time can be up to 4 times higher than in the low season.
